  • This graphic description works well to articulate 3 compelling, although seemingly opposite, paradigms of Black representation in South Central Los Angeles during the 1970's. The juxtaposition of the Black Muslims, the Black Panthers and Dr. Ralph Bunche in the local neighbor has had local and worldwide implications. The meld of these influences are felt today.

Description: Observation about what was called the “Triangle of Black Identity” in Los Angeles in the 1970. Three political group have different ideology about the Black Awareness and Black Identity. Discussion about Awareness and Identity amoung neighbors is very common in 1970.
